Not Just Another Sunday!

Today we had baby Meerpohl baptised! It was a great day and
a lot of his family and friends came to celebrate with us. Sugar was quite the ham in front of the congregation, he was laughing and jumping for everyone! He took his three hand fulls of water with no problem and was walked up and down the church by our preacher.

We came home to a great lunch that was pot-luck! I think those end up being the best dinners. We had plenty of food and we were so glad to have our house filled with our loved ones. It is so nice just to be able to catch up with everyone.

We were all ready for a nap when the day was done and Daryl barely made it to eight before he crashed. I guess being held and kissed all day can really wear a little guy out! :-)

This weekend I also got my hair cut. I LOVE it. It takes about two minutes to dry and then I'm ready to go. It seems like I go thru this cycle with my hair. I cut it all off then I get tired of having it trimmed all the time, then I grow it out and I get tired of the non stop ponytail look. Maybe I will keep the short now that I really don't have minute to spare in the morning!!

I hope everyone had just as good a Day as we did at the Manor!!!

Easter

Spent the Easter holiday far far far away with my pretty brother and his even prettier fiance! Thankfully we made it home with only about 25 minutes of crying in the car. That is improvement!

We had a lot of fun dyeing Easter eggs and playing with our nephews and niece. They also had a good time playing with D. He has gotten so big since the last time they saw him. They have gotten big themselves!

My golf lessons are still going good. If we have good weather this weekend I'm going to have to go out and practice! I bet I can find a good caddy right around the house. ;-)

Looking forward to having family over this weekend and felting Kelly's slippers! Those are the two goals. Gotta have short term goals!!

Nothing Exciting, But that's Kinda Nice!

There is not too much new at the Manor. Sugar is still perfecting his mobility skills and Kelly and I are still scrambling to get things out of his reach!

Kelly golfed a 40 something last night (nine holes) and I learned how to actually swing a club! He doesn't believe it but I think I'm going to be better than him! After all after one lesson I was hitting straight and into the air, so really what's left to perfect?!

We will be heading Northwest for Easter this year. I'm not sure if we are mentally prepared but we shall go anyway! :-)

I hope the Easter Bunny treats everyone well and next year I'm going to be a good Mom and decorate for all of the holidays. So far for 2009 Sugar has got nothing! Poor guy.
